STRATOS
When I started to design my own typeface I had a lot of directions I could go. After rummaging over different examples of interesting letterforms and lettering, I was sent an image of a badge for the Lancia Stratos HF super car from a coworker. The type immediately stood out to me and I was quickly taken away by it. I decided to take what few letters were provided and design the rest of the typeface. By the time I was done I had altered much of the original letter forms to create a more cohesive feel between each character, while still paying homage to the original badge.
